In the past 6 months, I have been reading and studying the well-known book Design Patterns, Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software by Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson, and John Vlissides (GOF). Each pattern description includes a link to a more detailed article describing the design pattern and including a UML diagram, template source code and a real-world example programmed using C#. You who work on design pattern must familiar with Gang of Four (GoF). (Question 10) There two books have been around a while but are still important. Several There are only two things that I don't like about it. Design Patterns Elements of Reusable Object Oriented Software This book is commonly referred to as the 'Gang of Four' or GOF book. The pattern specifications follow the same form as in GOF's Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software. This DZone Refcard provides a quick reference to the original 23 Gang of Four design patterns, as listed in the book Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software. Also, I wish the samples were C#/VB.NET instead of Java. The authors of this book are Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson and John Vlissides. Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software is a Software Engineering book. The fifth chapter is the first part of the EDP catalog. The authors of this book are often refers to as Gang of Four Implementation: Let's implement decorated design pattern by C#. Troy Goode originally recommended this book to me. The Gang of Four are the four authors of the book, "Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software". Design patterns gained popularity in computer science after the book Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software was published in 1994 by the so-called "Gang of Four" (Gamma et al.). I wish that it did not contain all of the cartoons. Design Patterns : Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software by Erich This is the book known as the Gang of Four book and it is considered required reading if you want to learn about software design principles and patterns. In this article their twenty-three design patterns are described with links to UML of the twenty-three design patterns described by the Gang of Four.
